Drone videography is the art of using a drone to capture video footage that you can use for marketing or entertainment purposes.

People often use drone videography to film vast spaces, such as construction sites or a landscape. But you can also use drones to get up close in ways standard videographers often can’t.

Drones have two great advantages: aerial shots and motion shots. Aerial shots are those from high up above and motion shots are when the drone is moving across space to give a sense of depth.

You can fly a drone high above your property, event, or the local area, showing off your business in an amazing visual way.

Drones are perfect for showcasing:

Construction sites
Warehouses
New properties, new build homes, new factories, shopping centers, etc.
Events, such as concerts, festivals, sports, or fairs
Tourist spots, beaches, hotels, or even jungle!

A drone can show off these things and you’ll impress your viewers by giving them a better feel for the scale and breadth of what you offer.

Drone videography also offers a very immersive experience for viewers. As you take them on a journey through your location, they’re flying with you. From wide, bird’s eye view shots to ones up close.

That’s another benefit to drone filming: as well as flying high up above, they can also fly right down and get super close to things people alone might not be able to.

This suddenly makes certain ideas feasible when they may not have been before. For example, events with fast movements, such as sports games. The viewers don’t just want to be on the sidelines anymore; they want to be right in the middle of the action.

  1. Behind-The-Scenes Videos

Drone videography can also bring something more exciting to your behind-the-scenes videos. This way, when you say ‘behind the scenes, you really mean behind the scenes.

Use a drone to take your viewers on a flying tour around your space. For instance, this could be literally behind the scenes of a video shoot; alternatively, it may be ‘behind the scenes of your business (the factory where your products are made).

Drone filming for behind-the-scenes content creates an immersive experience for your audience. As a result, they’ll get a more detailed and satisfying look at how things operate. This transparency turns into customer trust, which will generate more sales!

That’s successful marketing! Generate more attention to your products and services, and get more customers buying them.

TikTok: The New Trend in Social Media?

TikTok: The New Trend in Social Media?

TikTok is one of the fastest-growing social media platforms of 2019: The app’s monthly installs surpassed those of Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat this year. All indications are that its popularity will continue to grow.

TikTok is a social video app where you can watch people lip-syncing or dancing to songs, or create videos of yourself doing the same. With over a billion downloads on Android and iOS, TikTok is a fast-growing social network and it is extremely popular in Asia.

How to get started with TikTok

You can download TikTok on iOS, Android or from the Amazon Appstore. Videos will automatically start playing and you can search the site content. But if you want TikTok’s quirky videos to get you your 15 seconds of fame, you’ll need to make an account.

To sign up, tap the profile icon in the bottom-right corner of the screen. You can sign up with Facebook, Google, Twitter, Instagram, your phone number or an email address. The app will link to the platform you choose or you can sign up manually.

Start by scrolling and see what you find, or you can start in the Following tab and sync your contacts to find your friends who are using the app. The Discover tab is also a good place to find content. See what hashtags are trending and search for what you’re interested in.

If you like a video, double-tap it or hit the heart button. Most of the ways you can interact with a video are on the right side of the screen. The creator’s profile, the “like” heart, the comment section, share options and the rotating icon that will show you other videos that use that particular song.

If you long-press the screen you can save a video, add it to your favorites collection or say you’re not interested in it. You can also access the creator’s profile by swiping left. From there, you can follow that creator. The layout is similar to Instagram, except its only videos, so it shouldn’t feel too foreign.

As you get more involved in the platform and engage with more people, you can find likes and comments from your followers in the Notifications tab. Your private-message inbox is also in the Notifications tab. To make any adjustments to your account, like privacy settings or push notifications, for example, tap the profile icon.

How to make a video on TikTok

Tap the white “+” at the bottom center of the screen and give TikTok the necessary permissions it asks for. You can either film something new or upload a video. You can trim a video immediately after uploading it.

Your sound editing options are at the top right, and the video editing controls are at the bottom left of the screen.

To add a song to your post, tap Select Sound in the top right. From there, you can search for songs by playlists, popularity or hashtags. Once you find the perfect tune, tap the red checkmark to add it. Use the Mixer tool or Trim to get the song just how you want it.

Tap the smiley face to add stickers, GIFs or emojis. Some of the stickers are animated. Once you drop one in your video, you can drag it into place or, if you’d rather delete it, to the top of the screen where a tiny trash can will appear.

Also, you can use Effects. Here you’ll find more visual filters to drop over your video like Rainbow, Water, Snow, and Feathers. The cool part is, you can change filters as much as your video allows. Simply long-press on a filter to apply it and let go to stop. Tap Stickers to add Snapchat-style face filters to the video.

In Effects, you can add transitions like Scroll, Rotate, Slip and more. Finally, you can add reverse effects, flash or slow motion to your video. Before you publish, tap Select Cover to create a thumbnail that other people will see when they find your video.

There’s a text box where you can write a bit about your video, add some hashtags or tag friends. Customize your preferences by tapping Who Can View This Video and choose between public, friends only or private. You can also toggle comments on or off. Save your video to drafts, automatically post it to Twitter or post it to TikTok only.

Trending Videos

What’s trending is important to a video’s success on any social media platform. Pay attention to hashtags, what’s popular right now and what’s trending in the Discover tab. You can stick a hashtag on your video to make it more findable. The more relevant your content is, the better it’ll do with your audience.

Visual Search: A New Digital Marketing Trend of 2019 – The Future of SEO

Visual search is the new trend of artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML). It will change the way on how consumers find and buy products.

Also, it will change the SEO for businesses and marketers.

Many people like the ability to visually search over any other new technology. Google, Amazon, Pinterest, and Bing have already developed new capabilities in this area.

Many reports show that “The future of search will be about pictures rather than keywords,” It’s no surprise that visual search promises to be the new digital marketing trend of 2019.

Visual Search Stats

Images are returned for 19% of search queries on Google
There are over 600 million visual searches on Pinterest each month. Image-based Pinterest Ads have an 8.5% conversion rate, and Pinterest is projected to clear $1 billion a year in ad revenue by 2020
The image recognition market is expected to grow to $25.65 billion by 2019
By 2021, early adopter brands which redesign their websites to support visual and voice search will increase digital commerce revenue by 30%.

How Does Visual Search Work?

The human brain is extremely visual – 90% of all information received by the brain is visual.

Visual search is a natural evolution in enhancing how the technology works best for us – however, a human brain is very different from AI. When we look at a picture, we don’t see a set of points and dotted lines.

Instead, we can identify patterns and shapes immediately. The theory behind the visual search is to teach machines to do the same.

When presented with an image, a visual search identifies objects within it and then searches for images related to those objects. For example, based on an image of a chair, a visual search would enable you to shop for an identical or similar chair.

Current technology can identify multiple shapes and outlines contained within a single image to allow users to match to different objects.

Visual search engines rely on neural networks which utilize machine learning technology, so the systems are constantly learning and expanding their field of experience.

Companies with a lot of information – such as Google – benefit most, as their visual search application (Google Lens) has an enormous amount of data from which to improve its search functionality.

Because of this, Google Lens can not only identify objects in an image, but also match them to local retailers, provide customers reviews, and sort listings.
